Purpose

Mission Statement

Through integrity and excellence in financial management and innovative day trading strategies, my heart is to inspire others through life with Jesus. The financial industry has been tarnished with greed. Ultimately, as I share life with top executives and financial professionals worldwide, my goal is to emphasize the hopelessness in wealth accumulation and the greater purpose in Jesus.  Through self employment and day trading, I intend to give myself away, both of finances and practical action.

Life Purpose

My life purpose is to glorify God by being a part of His story as Christ lives through me.
In every moment of my life, I will be striving to continuously improve as:

  • A passionate disciple and follower of Jesus Christ
  • A loving and encouraging friend of others
  • A faithful steward of all resources entrusted to me
  • An entrepreneur of integrity and excellence
  • An impactful, servant leader

Being Dependable For God

God knocked my socks off this week.  It was incredible.  Do you ever sit down and attempt to evaluate your relationship with God?  Surely I’m not trying to get religious and develop a ranking system for Spiritual growth, but the fact is there are some things he calls us to do.  We can’t really deny it.  Some wisdom trickled down to me from the staff meeting at 12Stone Church.  I will paraphrase the senior pastor Kevin Myers; as I understand it, here’s two different moments with God:

Our Stress Insults God

Two words infiltrated my weekend.  WORTHY and STRESS.  Following an 80 hour work week, I found myself at O2, a night of worship at 12Stone Church.  The theme was WORTHY.  For some reason, I was looking forward to this all week.  Saturday morning, for the first time, I showed up at Dugout.  Dugout is a ministry of 12Stone Church where men of all ages dialogue, network, and collaborate on a variety of topics and ideas. That morning’s topic was STRESS. Saturday evening, I reflected on these two words in conversation with my friend Josh.  WORTHY and STRESS.

How We Waste Water

Water.  Could you reduce your consumption?  This is one of many ways God pressed during my third trip to Haiti.  We could go on and on about water issues, and if you know me, typically I could care less about saving the earth!  If you said stop flushing the toilet so often, I’d roll my eyes and laugh!  My conviction is related to showering.  Here’s what I concluded about my own habits:

Patience Is Key

I think it's very important to recognize that patience is listed first in the classic love verses:

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." 1 Corinthians 13:4-7
